| Presco
is proud to be a sponsor of the Team Everest '03
expedition. This 18-month campaign was born in Austin,
Texas — organized by the Coalition of Texans
with Disabilities (CTD)—and will follow a
monumental journey to the top of the world's highest
peak, scheduled for the end of May 2003. The CTD's
mission in organizing Team Everest '03 has been
to dramatically challenge, and change, erroneous
perceptions of individuals with disabilities. In
2003, the 50th anniversary of the first summit of
Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay,
the mission clearly demonstrates the capabilities
and potential of those with disabilities. A portion
of Presco's sponsorship was dedicated to supporting
Challenge Trek team member Kim Smith of Howe, Texas.
The Challenge Trek team will reach and establish
Everest Base Camp at 17,500', and assist in preparing
the Summit team to climb further. The Summit team,
headed by Gary Guller, expects to reach the top
of Mt. Everest by the end of May. Gary, previously
injured in a mountaineering accident, will be the
first person with one arm to ever stand upon the
summit of the world's highest peak. All along the
way, Presco's donated outdoor marking products will
be utilized. Below are photos of Presco's products
in action — as well as excerpts from communications
with Gary while he makes his incredible journey.

| "Imagine
in the early or late afternoon, clouds come in,
weather changes fast and what starts out as a bright
clear day high on Everest can become a dark, wind
swept day with 10 to 20 feet visibility." —

"[We
are using the flags] around our Team Everest
'03
Camp Two [as it] is completely on the ice
at over 22,000'…. The flags are very visible
in low visibility and are a welcoming sight
for some sore legs after climbing all day."

|
 |
| Flags
have fiberglass staffs which will not melt
surrounding snow as steel wire would have. |

“We
are also using the flags to mark individual
tents
as Team Everest '03 climber tents.” |
|
  |
“We've
marked both our Base Camp
and Camp Two kitchen
tents with the larger Presco Team Everest
'03 banners.” |
