The Hispanic Heritage Council celebrated their 16th annual Hispanic Festival this past weekend at the Sherman Municipal grounds in downtown Sherman, TX. This event encourages and promotes cultural diversity awareness, education, community advocacy and youth leadership. This year’s Hispanic celebration included a variety of authentic food, entertainment, health education and cultural activities such as folklore dances, children’s games, crafts and even a low rider car show! The profits from this celebration fund and continue to grow their annual
Scholarship Award Program for deserving Hispanic high school students in the Texoma area.

This event is accomplished each year by community volunteers and partners and funded through generous donation contributions from businesses like Presco and we are proud to be a part of giving back to HHC in their effort to support cultural diversity and furthering education in our community…..
